I think ATI update their drivers and the CCC on a monthly basis. I tend to update only once a year unless I am having a problem and it looks like an update would be the cure.
I go through the full ritual when I install new drivers. That entails removing completely the old stuff, including booting into safe mode and running a third party driver removal tool and sacrificing a virgin at full moon. (kidding, just seeing if you were paying attention)
Then I check for any files left behind and any stray registry entries. Now you can see why I only update one a year if all is ok!
Virgins are hard to find!

I concur on the Virgin stuff
I just double click the exe file, and everything goes smooth.
I update every time there is a new version.
I may be naive, but it is my firm believe that there must be some improvements, otherwise I can't see a reason for releasing a new build
Until now I have had no struggles with that.

I am curious - do you just update the drivers or do you do the whole thing including the Catalyst Control Center. I must confess part of the reason I only update yearly is I am still on dial-up (yuck) and I will probably do updates more frequently when I get broadband.

You'll run into trouble with that method sooner or later unfortunately.

Haven't had any problems with that for the last 6 years or so ... so I seriuosly doubt it....
Jeg use the "big" one (incl. CCC)
Overlayed with ATITrayTool after wards...
