Aircraft realism settings

Would anyone care to recommend what aircraft realism settings should be used in FS9? I'm having trouble settling on a decent setup, so any advise would be appreciated. ATM I'm mainly using Rick's Chipmunk and want to get the setup right as a colleague wants to have a go as he used to fly the Chippie at Manston with the AEF.

Hi Keith

All my models are built to have the realism sliders on maximum to get the best from the flight model.

Regards
Rick

Yep, 100% all the time, although some rotary wing modellers say 95% for a more stable hover.

Thats interesting. My helicopter flying resembles a badly executed circus act, so I might look into the realism settings.

I put General On hard for the RealAir Spit, but that made Helicopters go mad.

Well, I've setup FS realism settings at 100% and, although a bit trickier to fly with, seems to be a vast improvement over what I had originally set. One slight problem I am getting with the Chipmunk is that I'm forever having to correct a slight right-hand turn when I'm supposed to be in S&L flight. I added a rudder trim gauge to the panel but this didn't seem to help. Any ideas, please.

Hi,

It may be something as simple as a recalibration of your controls. For some reason I regularly have to recalibrate my CH pedals.
