If I may (I'll try to keep it in the "classic" theme though) -
N99380 AUG04 LCK-CRW-LCK:
http://www.airliners.net/open.file/0404077/M/ (as it looked then; white with black nose and nacelles now)
N611AW 27NOV00 DEN-FAR:
http://www.airliners.net/open.file/0412779/M/ (colors when I flew on it)
http://www.airliners.net/open.file/0215813/M/ (Original colors)
N151ZE 22/25SEP06 LNC-MAF-LNC:
http://www.airliners.net/open.file/0836080/M/ (Nearly identical to today - only the gray on top is a bit higher than during the '85 tour)
Only other "classic" stuff I've flown on were a dozen or so SWA 737-200s and a few 727s (American & United). Everything else has been far too "modern" to fit here or I just can't remember what it was becuase I was ***WAY*** too young.
Wish there were more old aircraft out there that we "young ones" could fly on to experience the golden age of airliners - the 1950s through 1970s.

I't even more funny to follow the links of the c/n, you get a glibse of the aircraft history....
Many of them ended up at Northwest apparently.

Sticking to the classics. And British ones at that.
8th Nov 1973. My first flight was in this. Incredibly still seems to be flying.

Nov 74. Just before she retired.

April 75. Noisiest flight.

But I will stick this one for good measure thanks to John Reising B24H
And the only "famous/infamous" aircaft Ive flown in Boeing 727-100 series CN 18830 N29KA - When I worked for Key Air I flew many times
on the jumpseat of this beastie - anyone care to hazard a guess what
its claim to fame was?????

It was indeed the Cooper Aircraft- Key operated it for ten years until it
was struck off and reduced to beer cans at Greenwood Ms in the late
90s. Always wondered why they let it disappear as it was a historically
famous airframe. Secondly - it was the first aircraft that I ever saw a
"Cooper Lock" modification on. After DBs escapades Boeing engineering
designed an aerodynamic lock that would not allow the airstairs on a
727 to be deployed in flight. The one thing that many people have
ascertained over the years was that Cooper either worked for Boeing
or North West because he was by his actions intimatly familar with
the 727s operation both from a performance and mechanical stand point.
Of course the other big clue was where the hijacking occured.
Cheers
