First Flight with CBFS/Flynet

I just wanted to mention that I flew my first revenue flight for CBFS and it was a success. The flight was CBF4462, EGSS to EGAA. The aircraft performed great although I couldn't get the Cabin Pressure horn to stop above 7800ft. Still a good flight . Flynet worked as advertised. Looking forward to flying again.

Should have mentioned that the aircraft was the BAC 1-11-400.

Hi Mark

I think this may be your horn problem...this is pinched from CBF forum

Pressure controller - two switches bottom right side of panel set controller to 7000feet (doesnt really do anything but looks good) and flip both switches
on or you will get a really LOUD warning horn when the cabin diff goes above 8.2 psi)

Thanks, I'll try it. I got it to stop once before but couldn't get it off this time. Maybe I was just clicking too many buttons.

Mark,

If setting the pressure won't silence the horn look for a little yellow light to the right? of the pressure controller,press it and all should be silent again.

Hi Mark

Glad to see you got back in one piece. :smile:

The stats on your 1-11 flights are showing a very low fuel burn for some reason, less than half of what it should be.
Normal is about 2500 kg/h, your two flights have come up at 931 kg/h & 1159 kg/h.

I can't say why exactly, but can you check you have the right settings in your aircraft.cfg file?
These are the sections to check...

[GeneralEngineData]
engine_type= 1
Engine.0= -30.600, -7.200, 3.000
Engine.1= -30.600, 7.200, 3.000
Engine.2= -30.600, 0.000, 3.000
fuel_flow_scalar= 1.380
min_throttle_limit=-0.159912

[TurbineEngineData]
fuel_flow_gain= 0.002
inlet_area= 7.500
rated_N2_rpm= 15000.000
static_thrust= 11400.000
afterburner_available= 0
reverser_available= 1

If the settings are different, I'd recommend you download the latest 1-11 400 zip from my website and use the aircraft.cfg & air files from that.
If you have an old version of these files, there could well be other things not working properly.

If you need any assistance, just give us a shout.

Cheers
David

David,

I checked the config and it is the same as the lines in your last post. I did however notice that I still had the unlimited fuel option checked. I thought that I had unchecked it but apparently not. It is now unchecked. Would that have had anything to do with it?

Thanks for your help.
