NAM Co-operative Building Project Being Investigated

My opinion may be slightly biased as Newark is my local air museum, but I’ve always been really impressed with both their ever increasing inventory of aircraft and their efforts restore them and display them indoors.
My high opinion of NAM has just been increased further as it now appears as though they intend to place their three largest exhibits; Vulcan, Shackleton, and Hastings indoors as plans are afoot to build a third hanger on the site. Scroll down to ‘Co-operative Building Project Being Investigated’ mid way down the following page for more information:

If successful that will be quite some hanger and further cement their position as, I believe, the largest independently owned and run air museum in the UK. I really hope (and in fact have little doubt) that they will pull it of and wish them luck with this latest endeavour.
