We had to drug him to get him off the flightdeck

Smashing day all round. Lovely weather, good company, great aircraft and the ever present smell of aviation fuel. No better way to spend a Monday

Nice to meet up with DM and Toby again and a delight to meet Peter

What are we doing next Monday

Is the RR missing off the engines or did she not have them originally?

In BEA service the RR badges were never fitted.

Yes a nice day & lovely to meet everyone.
We reckoned Peter was re-enacting a complete flight, he was in the seat that long. Fortunately me & Dave B had already been in.
Dave B got a great pic from outside of Peter beaming out of the cockpit window. Think he was enjoying himself.

Nice to chat with some of the visitors there & hear a few stories.
Thanks for the invite Toby.

Don't think it did have the RR's Ben.
Not really noticed them missing before. Wonder why? The 1-11 Speys usually had them. Maybe they peel off at mach 0.88?
