Tomorrow morning im going to fly a viking or dc3 from northolt to heathrow so i can get myself a VC10. as i was going there i wandered if anyone wanted a dc3 or viking to collect from heathrow. You can choose either and you should find this convenient because i've found northolt isn't the easiest airport to get into in terms of aircraft that can fly there.

Is there not a Dove there you could use? I know I took one there at some point but can't remember where the hell I might have left it
The Viking can be a bit of a worry to get out of Northolt with plenty of gas onboard but you won't need a great deal to get to LHR. Take whichever you feel comfortable with and leave it at LHR if you like. I have a private aircraft at Northolt so can ferry it back

If you're after money.. the DC3 will make more for you due to the excess/incorrect cargo it loads

Hi Jonathan,
Only the Dove and Viking have a route plan EGWU - EGLL and as there's no Dove currently at EGWU it looks like you'll be taking a Viking

. Don't forget when you've finished playing with the VC10's to take the Viking back to one of it's designated bases, no rush, just don't forget about it

.

Yeah i learned about EGWU's runway the hard way.
Well, roughly the time when i was 50 feet from the end of the runway and below V1. (the ground crew asked what was with the new bush scheme. )
I'll be taking the viking. Now i need a piece of paper to stick to either the computer or my head to pick up the viking.
