Well, when I bought the Vampire it was 25C here, so I did some shots to cheer you in Iceland (sorry Britain) up a bit. Yes, I do know it is a perfect Spring day in the UK now  I forgot to post them at the weekend!

Well I think they did call it "Dayglow Orange"
BTW Trev, landings in Vamps are normally done with full flap

There is always an expert somewhere
I was performing a slow pass for the camera :tuttut: BTW, the Alpha Vampire appears to have about 8 flap settings, is this correct Peter, it seems a lot? The airfield is Pearson Field, part of the Portland Flightzone package.

Well Trev, you can have any position between 0 and 80 degrees in the real aircraft...You just move the flap lever to up or down and then back to neutral when they are where you want. If fully up or down then the lever should be left fully up or down.
In practice the flaps are always up for take-off but 30 degrees if droptanks are fitted. Full flap below 145 kts for landing...Cross the hedge at 100 kts or 105 kts at max landing weight.
