Great piece of footage. Well done to the pilot. Anyone notice the firetrucks going in the opposite direction?!

Hi James

There are about I think it is 26 flying mainly in Indonesia and the Philippines.

The last Japanese schedule was last September after about 42 years in service.

They are Rolls Royce Darts.

Nicely done.

Just watching the other YS-11 videos on there, and it sounds like the HS.780 - sound of the bigger props. Is it the same version of the Dart, the Mk 12?

Not called as such

The 780 was a special Dart for military use. The 780 also had reverse thrust.

Hard to tell from recordings and as I have never seen a NAMC I can't really say :dunno:

Fraser might know more
