Buccaneer XV863 is currently up for disposal:

I really do hope this Gulf War veteran finds a good home (preferably under cover . . . and at Newark!!) as I have a bit of a soft spot for this particular aircraft. My Dad and I where lucky enough to be given tour of 12 Sqn and its aircraft shortly after the war (OC 12 Sqn at the time was one of my Dads old crew members on Vulcans). Among all of the camouflaged Bucs and Hunters was XV863 still in it Gulf war colours. Somewhere I’ve got a picture of me climbing up the access ladder next to the nose art. It was a great day.

If only I had deeper pockets . . and a barn.

I’ve not heard any thing recently about XX885’s return to the air. Hawker Hunter aviation, based here in Lincolnshire at Scampton, own her but their web site doesn’t seem to have anything new to say: http://www.hunterteam.com/news.htm
Some more info can be found here but again nothing very recent: http://www.airsceneuk.org.uk/hangar/2006/bucc/bucc.htm
Anyone privy to some more up-to-date gen?

Quite a few Tucanos on that website (over enthusiastic training?), and even a few ships. Need more than a barn for one of those.
