It's a grotty day here at McLeland Field and I thought I would escape the gloom in my "Bolt On Float" version of "Little Bandit"...I'll be going to Elfin Cove (ELV) which is just about where Glacier Bay v2 joins up with Tongass Fjords.

I've been keeping her over here at Marine Services...
The freeware scenery Glacier Bay version 2 is very close to release...probably this week!

I thought I would continue on today to another charming destination in Glacier Bay...Juneau International Seaplane Base. These shots were taken in the final Release Candidate 2.

Well I was right yesterday...They kicked me out of the yacht basin and here I am where seaplanes are supposed to be.

Thanks James...I built this machine especially for Flight Simulator and spared no expense...So it should perform well. Since I built it in 2003, it has had a change of Motherboard and recently a change of Graphics Card.

Yes Joe...very nice heater controls for front and rear of the cabin...Nice pull knobs on fine ratchets that make a nice quiet clicking as you pull them out

Everything about Little Bandit is very refined
It may be released today...

FS2004 GlacierBay Version 2.0
Overview
Glacier Bay v2 is a complete replacement of the default FS2004 landscape and scenery objects for an area of more than 90,000 square
kilometers (36,000 sq miles) of northern Southeast Alaska and adjacent Canadian areas of Yukon and British Columbia. The major
settlements of the coverage area are Juneau, Haines, Skagway, Yakutat, Atlin, and Carcross. There are 16 main airfields included in this
package (plus one fictitious airstrip), 20 unlisted airstrips, 16 seaplane bases, and seven heliports, all of which have been modeled to
match their realworld counterparts. To provide you with "company" we've also included AI ship traffic in various locations as well as several options for GA and floatplane AI traffic.
Glacier Bay v2 is fully compatible with other thirdparty addons, including terrain mesh (FSGlobal, FS Genesis, FSProject, etc.), ground textures(Ground Environment, BEV, FScene, etc.), and landscape enhancements(Ultimate Terrain Canada/Alaska, Misty Fjords, Tongass Fjords, Freight Dogs). A configurator panel allows users to set compatibility options and choose levels of scenery detail. Also, inland water bodies can be made to "freeze over" via an on/off switch. We provide detailed documentation including a sectional map of the coverage area and a list of weblinks to realworld information.
This project is a collaboration of nine FS developers from Germany, Austria, USA, and Canada, logging more than 1000 hours of work
over the past 14 months. We acknowledge the kind support of FSAddon Publishing. However, this project is independent of any
commercial product.
Enjoy!
Installation
Glacier Bay v2 is meant to be installed (and uninstalled) with its autoinstaller
and configurator panel. If you have concerns regarding the
specific file movements please refer to the "GBv2_installation_specs.txt" in the "\FSAddon\Glacier Bay\" folder.
Edit...It's being uploaded to AVSIM now.

Hi Peter, where can get your airfield, adjusted for this great package?
I also seem to have some vehicle textures missing (I used the install programme), have you had this?
