It was on last night at 19.30, I had no connection then so could not give you a H.U. :crying:
Lots of footage of inter war years flying, good stuff!

Oh don't start another thread about last night's television, we'll only have Garry telling us he hasn't got a TV again! :wink:

But for those of us who do (in the UK anyway, Dan), thoroughly enjoyable, lots of nice grainy footage of "proper planes". :smile:

This thread started off with the channel-name in the title, so instantly it told me that is was nowt for me.....

Did they have anything about the gent who used to jump about of Cobhams aircraft with a pair of bat wings on -- Trying to think of his name - German I think - My mum said she say the Circus at Haddock Park once long long ago ---edit well theres a sharp octegenarian for you - she says it was Haddock Park 1934 the fellows name was Clem Sohn and he used to jump out of a
Moth as part of Cobhams Circus :)

Never mind ansered my own question (well Old mum Min did :lol: )

I was fascinated by some of the footage, which I hadn't seen before - in particular, the wing walker almost certainly was a man I knew, Martin Hearn, who was a pilot for Cobham throughout the early 1930s, and was said to be the model for Tom Cutter in Nevil Shute's book "Round the Bend"
