the freeware saab draken is nice...but it's just not quite satisfying enough. Looking at something cheap such as the iris Mig fulcrum (naval package £4.50) or the alphasim F7U Cutlass (£10).
there isn't much infomation on either, but it does point how the iris offering has a good gauge refresh rate - which is important. has anyone any other suggestions or opinions?

Captain Sim F-104 ~£10 (was on a deal when I bought it)
Bear Simulations MiG-15 ~ £15
LAGO Tornado ~£16
LAGO F-16 ~£16
Aerosoft A-10 ~£11

i owned the cloud9 f-104 - didn't like it. not their work, but the plane was far too fragile and difficult to fly.i want something fun.
i own the aerosoft a-10 but it's pretty unflyable due to the woeful VC performance- less than one refresh per second. awesome for screenshots though.
bear simulations looks tempting indeed. loads of eye candy. i enjoyed kirk olssons sabre but gave it up soon because it's not exactly 'functional'. great for a bash around. the bear could be a good option based on that...
hmm.

Well Hinch because your obviously very hard to please I would say pop down to your local Bae Systems Airfield and see whether they have a Typhoon Simulator for you to have a go in.
It does'nt get much better than that..(!)

May I suggest the Alphasim Tiger, I have just reviewed for Avsim and it is really good, I actually paid for this (rather than recieve it as a review copy) and think it is worth every penny.

If you can hang on, the Javis Sabre should be worthwhile.
If not, the Aerialfoundry F-18s are pretty damn spectacular, and Alphasim's F-4 Pack 3 is virtually a must-have.
