Hi all,
I would put money on this being the brightest scheme ever to fly on a 1-11

The shot shows an Aviateca 1-11-500 (TG-AZA 'Quetzel') en route from Guatemala City to Miami. More shots can be found at this link:

The paint is, of course, by our very own Garry Russell, on DM's 1-11-500 model
Cheers

Yep
It was never a Court Line aircraft but was built to the same spec and painted on the line in a Court livery.
I did a few versions of Aviateca
Nice to see he out and about

Its nice to fly the Brit classics outside Europe

I was getting a bit bored of just pottering along the London/Manchester - Europe routes, but the American repaints that Garry has done for the 1-11 have given it a new lease of life for me. I've been flying a lot of American Airlines and Allegheny/US Air flights recently, and have Aviateca, Florida Express, Pacific Express and Atlantic Gulf Airlines to keep me amused for a while yet.
Unfortunately, none of the others are quite as bright as Aviateca, so you lot wont need your shades to look at my next lot of screenies!
