Ridiculous Problem with HS Trident Panel

I have been using the HS Trident from DM Flightsim for a long time. I have never had any problems with it. But today when I downloaded the upgrade for the VC, I found that I no longer had any VC panels. The rest of the cockpit is there, just not the forward and overhead panels. I have tried re-downloading it several times but the problem remains. I just want my old Trident back! Does anyone have a clue what the problem is? Thanks.

Have you put the model files in the correct folder? The VC is governed by the model files and not by panel folder files as I understand it. If you have put the VC update in the non-VC aircraft folder you will get this sort of problem. Sorry this is not a complete answer. Also, make sure that DMFS shared files are present

If you downloaded just the latest Panel file, I guess you need the 3D model to go with that same version of panel.
A VC is split between panel & 3D model and so you need the two bits in sync.
It sounds like you have an old version of the 3D model which doesn't match the panel.
So if you didn't already, download and install all the latest files

Thanks DM! That was the problem. The panel and the new features are now working great. It probably would help if there was a notice on the Trident upgrade page about the incompatability of the new VC panels with the old model You and your crew produce some of the the best freeware aircraft available.
