Classic British Flight Sim

Each time i start up my laptop it has become a complete lottery whether my sound will be working. Now, the windows startup sound works and so do all the others, but if i play a video/game/music the sound doesn't come on.

When double clicking the little speaker in my taskbar i'm given this;



A restart clears it, but its a bit annoying if you're working away for a while and then decide to listen to some music and have to restart.

Any ideas?

Tried reinstalling the sound drivers? You'll find them on the laptop manufacturers website.

Now i'm no German speaker, but i'm guessing that

MS Windows XP Drivers/Utilities

FEHLER: KEINE VERBINDUNG ZUM SERVER

Means they have no drivers!


edit: Disregard last, found them on the FTP. Will try them out.
