'Desert Storm' was only ever a US name for the earlier operation.
They initially called the 'second' war 'Operation Ultimater Justice', but this offended Muslims as their belief is that only Allah can administer ultimate justice. They then renamed this 'Operation Iraqi Freedom'.

Operation Granby was the British name for Desert Shield/Storm/Sabre in 1990/91.
