Nick, these reviews on your site are also all on SimFlight.com. Are they borrowing them, or are you??

They are written for me by Bill and Larry. I produce the pictures, edit and compile the pages, then I let Francois link to them at simflight as a favour

that's another nice review and it confirmed what i see from the screenshots - the VC just isn't great enough to warrant the price tag. the exterior is excellent, but for smooth gauges i'll stick with the freeware warwick carter one...unless i see it cheap

Cheers for the review. At the price they were asking, for two seperate versions, I'll pass though. (I don't have the patience for 75kt cruise!) If I can make a suggestion, it would have been helpful to include a link in the review to the publishers - the review makes no mention of price (which I don't object to) so I had to search for the publishers.

Or if there was a link, then I need new eyeballs. And they don't come cheap either!

Aeroplane Heaven publish this in two packages. You can get there using the link directly at the end of the review or clicking the banner at the top.

Edit: I'm going to make it clearer though

Hi Trev,

If you look closer, only the first review I did (C130) was actually republished on SimFlight. The others are just news items that lead to Nick's site.

Hi Bill, nice to see you over in our little home!! Does this change to reviews mean you have retired from making some of the best scenery in MSFS?

That C130 review was very well done, I did the AVSIM review of that product, just after its release.

It is a far better product, with 2007 hardware, than it was then. I also got well flamed by the hawks that post on the Avsim forum, they still 'hate those damn commies'

Seems to think that a lot of aieleron is required to hold a bank is correct. This was discussed a while ago as being wrong by people who have flown the thing for real.

There's been a fair bit of debate about the handling characteristics on the Just Flight forums, including the aileron problem, whether you should really need to hold the rudder on around the turn (if you do at least you don't have to hold the ailerons on as well) and whether the torque works properly or not.

No sign of any patch as yet to address handling issues, some panel gripes and a problem or two with the paint kit. I quite enjoy flying this (though my GA fave at the moment is still Rick's chippie) but IMHO folk should check out the Just Flight forum and try the demo to make up their mind as to whether or not the flight model works for them.

This is a pretty good review, though, which - as one of the early users of the Tiggie - I reckon is an accurate take on this model.
