Yoke

Hi all,

I am thinking of acquiring a CH USB Yoke and was just wondering whether anyone here uses one and what do they think.

Also will the yoke work with my existing Saitek X45 controller as I would like to carry on using the throttle control, obviously making the control stick redundant.

Seen a few of these yokes on EBAY but quite frankly I think people are commanding too much money for them as I have seen them for sale brand new for about £100.

Are there any other alternatives to the CH Yoke? :k:

I have the CH Yoke and I couldn't fly without it anymore. It really adds realism, and I just love it. I even added a yoke clip, purchased from AFE by the airport to hold approach charts! If you can, certainly get one. You won't regret it.

In terms of working with the others I don't know. I use Goflight throttles, so they are totally apart. I am also not sure what else is out there. I did see a replica 737 yoke on a proper stand, but as you'd expect it was alot more expensive.

Hi Vegas,

My setup is X45 and CH Yoke and CH pedals, all USB and all 'live'. I have an older Yoke with just one lever on the top which has unfortunately been snapped off flush with the casing, but it can still be operated and is assigned to prop pitch. I use my X45 throttle with the yoke and pedals and all work in harmony together.

Hi guys,

thanks for the replies. Think I might invest in the yoke. Looks the part and appears to do the business.

Just takes the simming one step further I guess.

You've got that right Eddie! Plus you have switches to assign for your gear etc.
