Is anyone else having trouble with FS9's real world weather at the moment?

Yes, I am. I hope the problem, whatever it may be gets sorted soon as I only ever fly with it on.

I am..it keeps saying to check connection.
This continues after turning RRW off
It did this a few weeks ago but was OK after a couple of days
I think it's a problem their end.

I've just been knocked off the net as well a couple of mins ago. This seem to be happening a bit as well
I wonder if it's a bit overloaded at the moment with Christmas coming as a touch unstable
just a thought

Might also have to do with the server responsible for providing this information is in Seattle which has been having some nasty storms over the past few days and has left over a million people without power.

I've done a trace-route on the server and it is dead. The route goes
as far as MSN in Seattle and stops there.
If Microsoft can't fix their own server in three days, it is worrying.
Unless, as has been suggested elsewhere, the plug has been pulled as
a dastardly plot to get us all to buy the so unloved FS X.

Cheers John
What gets me though is if I turn off the RRW which is set by default...it still keeps trying to connect
Lack of RRW is something and nothing, but failure to be able to cancel is very annoying to say the least :curse:
