Autopilot

i have hit a snag in the final development of the nimrod. Having completed the extensice cockpit, and installed many gauges, i installed the autopilot. However, it works, apart from the Altitude hold, which does not seem to have any effect. all other items such as heading hold, and IAS work fine. I have tried many differenct Ap;s and it is the same, so i assume it is a problem with the CFG and AIR files, but no idea what. Does anyone have any good thoughts?

Just out of interest, if autothrottle_available=0 IAS hold will vary the altitude up/down to maintain selected IAS. Try deselecting IAS hold and see if the ALT hold will then work on it's own. Not sure if autothrottle _available=1 will make the IAS hold control the throttles and then allow the ALT HOLD to work in conjunction with IAS HOLD.

What does the [autopilot] section of the aircraft.cfg look like. Mayby copy and paste it here so others can peruse it for any faults?
