An Ancient Visitor...

Inspired by a screenshot by Panther over on Outhouse, I downloaded this Camel today and took her for a spin...Actually, I did spin it off the top of a manoeuver but managed to confine it to one turn. Anyway here is the sequence of shots that I took:-

Image
Well here she is, as she was delivered and after a tiny mod to make her easier to taxy without rudder pedals, she is ready to go.

Image
I know these Rotary Engine types are funny to turn but I'll just throw her around a bit to get used to her.

The Tower's view as I pull up.

Up we go and...

...over the top...I must say that loops are very small in this machine...

...which is just as well.

A much more comprehensive sequence can be seen by clicking this address:-

You know Peter, your airport is an aviation glodmine, what with all of your visitors and displays. I wish I lived close to a place like that. If you ever need a dispatcher at Bandit Enterprrises or an Ops person then let me know. I am sure I can do a loadsheet on a camel.

Jetset, after one of your loadsheets including all your cakes and rice pudding.............the damned thing wouldn't have a chance of getting airborne!!

Ah right, may be we can increase the fuel burn on taxi making her a little lighter?
