Hi Guys,

I couldn't get the autoupdate to work, nor DaveB. Here is link for new .exe just overwrite your old one. The libmysql.dll is the same so doesn't need replacing.

http://flynet.en-studios.de/downloads/newest/flynet.exe

Please try the autoupdate first and report here if worked/didn't work.
edit: I think we can safely say that the auto-update does NOT work, so no need to report your findings here.

Changes in ver 0.6.1b :-

Hello all,

The Auto Update did not work for me. However, I'm happy to report that the manual update did in fact work and I can hopefully fly today

I've been trying to get on all day but now see that the update , [or lack there of,] was my problem.

Thanks..

Hi Gents,

Autoupdate didn't work, manual update fine.

dinada on the auto update, but manually working fine now... noticed some new lines on the client... Engine States... engine rpm?

I've noticed that it STILL uses 50% CPU when idle, so the .1 edition was clearly not aimed at performance issues....

You must have something dodgy there Dan as my flynet client uses virually nothing.... just registers 1% every 10 seconds or so... no more... Out of curiosity... do you have tracker enabled, as mine is switched off?

Hi Guy's,

I've found that my tracker appears to be turned off by default  Not fussed by it either way.

I've just managed to complete my first flight on the new client and all went well (notwithstanding what you have all already exprienced). One thing to note.. I took off at Le Bourget with my aircraft at 99.7%. My landing at Southend was -42fpm (not bad for me at this time of the morning having had a couple of pints) and as the opportunity arose, I booked another flight to Le Touquet. The same aircraft registered 99.7% for the new flight  I've not had a chance to trawl FlyNET (its seems confusing at best anyway) and there is no mention of aircraft depreciation mentioned in the latest update but I wonder if something has been tweeked?? Of course, it's possible that as the flight was booked prior to execution of the new client, all will work out in the end but I've not seen this happen before.

Anyone else noticed this??

I've had flights before where the aircraft did not depreciate... and given the way I fly them (certainly in terms of airspeed  ) I must have had a very good day!

Indeed mate. The Speys on your Tridents must need replacing every other flight
