Mysterious engine shutdowns

Maintenance Engineers struggled to find the reason why number one engine repeatedly shut down when Flight Lieutenant Wilberforce took the controls......

We frequently wore our headsets with one earpiece behind the ear - it enables conversation in the cockpit much more readily, and incidentally prevents you being deafened by sudden loud transmissions if the volume is turned up for other reasons

I'm well aware how & why the headset is worn in such a manner sir. It was said merely for comedy value! :wink: :smile:

At least she's not putting her make-up on, or doing her hair while flying - but then there's no rear view mirror is there.:lol: Ooooooh!! (I didn't say that!) :lol:

If it were a chap flying it and the engines kept going into reverse I would be very cautious :worried:
