The ILS Approach...

When I just want to do a bit of local flying, I enjoy using the autopilot to fly ILS circuits in whatever weather is really present. I engage the autopilot just after take-off and then have very little to do...This enables me to pop out into Spot view with my camera and enjoy the scenery to the full...On this particular sequence I also recorded the flight with the "Recorder" module, so I can watch it again any time I wish.

Nothing British but the full sequence can be seen here:-

Thanks for looking

Nice shots Peter

Did you use to pop outside with the camera much when you flew for BEA?

James,

The runway is only 5600 feet long and those B727s need ALL of it

Jonesey,

I don't remember them being as dirty as some models...perhaps I just didn't notice, but I remember them as clean and shiny
