Hi DM

I know Ive said it before and others have said , but thank you for giving us the 1-11 and its upgrade. I have just flown two of the most satisfying legs
in the 1-11/400 from Adak to Anchorage and on to Fairbanks. Seriously
the experience of flying the 1-11 (like the Trident) is so immersive that as
the MSFSX TV commericals say I had to slap myself to convince myself Im NOT a pilot. Anyway thats it...thank you sir......

I reckon it's something to do with the weather. I flew four flights yesterday up Scotland, two Tridents, two Viscounts & loved it.
The day before I'd flown the Trident up to Scotland & hated it.

Hey, I'll add in my thanks. It's nice to get in and go with these babies because they are fun to fly. Guess that's why I fly almost exclusively Maltby and Piper aircraft anymore...

I just want to echo the previous posts. I can't remember the last time I flew something that didn't come from the Maltby/Piper stables.

Yes Nigel, certainly the DMFS models would never have progressed without Dave Booker, Ben, Tonks, Sav, Peter McLeland, Fraser & a lot of other people too.
Rick, Garry, Toby V & others for their paintjobs & inspiration.
So much help, advice, photographs, books, manuals, flights in VC10s etc. & the odd kick in the butt too.

And then there's the people at the Historic Jetliner Group too (old & new) Marco Balzarotti, Tony Madge, Mark Cranston, without this lot it would have all ground to a halt long ago. And Pete at Simviation for hosting HJG & agreeing to let me stay on as their webspace squatter.

An immense amount of help really, now that I think about it. Thanks to all of you.
I really don't have the skills to make things happen & need a nice clear run to get anywhere. Fortunately for us there are people around this forum that do make things happen.

The autoland never ever ceases to amaze me,and Peter's Autoland Tutorial has helped me and the rest of the Venture Trident crews to get the best out of this fabulous aeroplane.

I pretty much Echo DM's message.

DM pushed me the extra yard that got me making models (I'll kill him! )

& the rest of the team and other developers here keep me going as i too would not get very far on my own.

I think as a natural group (none of us gathered together for any reason other than common interest) we are doing a damn good job of filling what was once a void of unmade models.

A big pat on the back to everyone concerned no matter how small a contribution.

I have been under a little pressure recently (here in the real world) and
I think what I was trying to say was it was such a joy to fly the 1-11
I believe it goes without saying that flying either yours or Davids offerings
are par excellence but as you know I have a soft spot for the 1-11 seeing
as it was the first aircraft I ever dispatched IRL. Right at the moment Im
about to go play limbo dancer (as in not how low but how short can you
go) in the Andover...And The same applies to you as to DM Yes I had
a walk on part in the beta testing of the Andover and got to grope the 1-11
update the same way but without you two their would be HUGE gaps
in everyones hobby
