Not a 'mod' as such but more of an operating procedure.

If your total fuel requested is not enough to get any quantity into the outer tanks (quite likely) then you will have to open the pedestal and ensure the inter engine cocks are open (they're shut by default) and that the pumps for the outer tanks are switched OFF (on by default).

The new fuel set up enables the correct procedure to be followed, ie run down the inner tanks until they are approximately 100 imp gals/800lb each. Then switch to the outers, running them down to a similar amount to the inners if time allows. Then run each engine from its own tank.

Note that the minimum fuel load on the Viscount 800/810 is 440 imp galls, or 3520lb.

For this setup, ie 3520lb, I would load 110 ig/880 lb in each tank.

For loads in excess of 440ig/3520lb, the outer tanks should be full and the balance divided between the inner tanks.

cheers
