If the moderators think this should be in the Gallery section (& it would have been if I'd thought on) then do please move it - Bob

No Not the Peter Jackson one....mine

I've had this idea to use Dave Garwood's Lancaster Mk III (Dambuster) in a sort of 'homage' to the 1954 film. [As far as FS2004 will allow.]

So far I have 19 Lancasters ready to go, & the following screen shots show a recent sortie by AJ-G (Guy Gibson's aircraft), doing test runs over the Derwent Dam to the west of Sheffield.

The 'film' would be a Fraps Production & put on YouTube (probably). But this is about as far as I've got so far.

Though I det get 4 aircraft up yesterday & after much chasing managed to formate with one - sorry not pix...forgot cameraman

With Des Braben's sounds & the WOP Lanc panel, flying the Derwent Dam & not crashing is not easy.

Enjoy these (for now)

On a note, I have read that there is going to be a new Dambusters film shot, when the '54 version was done there was still a lot of the operation details classified, that same info is now declassified.

It will be interesting to see what comes of this, as they will of course be using so many special effects and what other info is now available.

When I had Fs2002 I borrowed the excellent Dambusters expansion pack.
You get the Dambuster Lanc, standard Lanc,Downwood test Mossie and Wellington plus the scenery for Derwent and Chesil Beach.

I spent a good hour one afternoon in the Lanc up over the Pennines looking for Derwent ,which I did find eventually.

The virtual residents in the hills must have loved me making all that Merlin racket
