Trident 3B G-AWZK Progress photos (56k warning)

Neil has been working hard on 'ZK and with some new people in the management at MAN we are hoping for a decision on rebuild very soon.
In the meantime heres some photos to show whats been going on:

Cockpit virtually complete, save for the standby horizon which we have now sourced.

Neil has been refurbishing the undercarriage. Here you can see repainted wheels and cleaned up tyres. In the background are the two ex-Cosfrod sets of steps which Neil has repainted back into BEA colours.

In the rear cabin is a display of Trident photos, information, manuals and other artifacts such as the Smiths SEP5 flight controller unit.

It could almost be the early 70s again! Neil has obtained red seat covers for all the seats, fitted new black carpet, removed the overhead bin doors and repainted all armrests etc to 'terracotta' to revert the cabin to original BEA spec.

Each seat now has a reproduced BEA-era safety card.

The cabin (cf with original 1970s photo below)

A very large Trident 1 model on loan to us from the BA archive. Heaters and dehumidifiers have been installed hence the large pipe which ejects moist air through a window aperture (I think thats what it does anyway :think:
)

Original 1970s BEA interior. The seat covers we have are the later BA flower pattern and the carpet should be a very dark brown rather than black but we had to use the closest match colours/fabrics we could obtain.
