FlyNET problem today

Please see my earlier message today in the 'Crew Room' regarding my flight, almost 2 hours for no return to myself or the VA, from Heathrow to Newcastle. FlyNET seems to have a misaligned flight system.

Hi James,
I think John is looking into it for you. I fully understand your frustration. I did a 2hr45min flight from LHR to LIRA yesterday and must have lost the server along the way. No problem. I noted the code to upload my 431out only to find it wouldn't accept the code  End result.. 2.45hrs wasted and a total of 8.15hrs flying to refly the flight and get back again. Not the best day off I've spent

FlyNET problem today

Hi Dave,
U2!!
It really is frustrating. I am retired and so can devote a lot of time to FS but I do try to remember those still 'economically active,' daft term for 'at work!' For someone RTB after a day of slog it must be infuriating to spend an evening going nowhere at M0.7.
Once or twice during that flight I had the impression that my 'flight' was being observed, perhaps by the 'FlyNET flight Monitor' which I do not think that I have been able to fully reason out yet. A couple of quick 'zaps' on my screen which did not, at the time, appear to affect my flight. Bit mysterious.
I placed my problem on the forum to warn others.
I also did not contact FlyNET directly being unsure of the VA preferred channels of communication with FlyNET. I thought it best to let John know first taking the view that he, as CEO, should always be 'in the loop' and that he would prefer to handle all comms from our VA to FlyNET. I have just asked John to let me know his preferred method of communication with FlyNET and I shall act on his decision hereafter. All sounds far more formal than I mean it to.
Back on the line tomorrow I hope.
Best wishes, James

Hi John
Thank you.
Has anyone else experienced the Heathrow-Heathrow = 218nm problem?
Best wishes, James

Hi James,
Not seen that particular problem before but that wasn't the only thing 'wrong' with your report. The block time and block fuel were also TU.
