Classic British Flight Sim

Hello All,

Had a bit of a chuckle this morning, loaded up at Bournemouth to have a bit of a look around trying all the textures out etc - set it to Winter and got a rather surprising view....



Turning on the UK Winter textures seems to turn the south of England into a desert paradise!

Sand, sand everywhere!

...made me laugh anyway! :huf:

There must be a good reason for that........MS looking to the future in global warming? :roll:

They're probably banking on the fact that by the time people can actually run FS.X global warming will have happened

I don't see the problem with that picture. There has obviously been a strong winter storm which has blown much of the Bournemouth beaches onto the airport, and the airport staff have done an excellent job in keeping the runway clear.

did you try a flight from a desert area to see if the snow
fell there instead???
