I've finished testing this AI version of David Maltby's Trident 3 and will now start work on the scheduling for my project "A Week in the life of Zulu Juliet"...I will take all the destinations from my Logbook and of course the base will be Heathrow. Should have it ready for release to testing in a day or two.

Meanwhile here are some shots that I took on the final test...My screen resolution is back to 1600x1200x32 with Forceware all set to Off and Application controlled and the AA box in FS9 Ticked...Frames are now locked at 25 FPS and get that for practically all the time till on the ground at McLeland Field...Everything you see here is AI Traffic as I am sitting comfortably in my "Mobile Tower" and it does not come into shot.

James,

My airport is in Alaska in the Yakutat region...No, it wasn't very easy to build and it took three years

It's a lot more than you think JAB

It consists of many separate modelling projects brought together.

All has to be integrated so that it functions as one.

It was a project that was added to in improved over quite some time leading to a very high quality add on.

Escellent shots!

Peter,
As always, great shots. I really enjoy your posts, specially when you share your experiences from your pilot's carrer. I bet it must have been a great time flying those Trident's and military jets! Trully, only a handfull of people can boast doing the type of flying you did. Keep 'em coming...
Regards,
Macs :)

Well James, for one thing, the airport is unique and does not have a stock version in FS9...That means that there are no ATC approaches to just happen automatically...Hand coding the ATC Approaches in XML and all the flight testing and adjustment of those alone took nine months. Then all the Traffic schedules and the special AFCADs for the Cruise Ships and Guard vehicles etc. etc. I could go on

Here are some shots of it working in FSX:-

Progress report on the "Week in the life of Zulu Juliet"...Most files are now complete and Sunday is scheduled and working. At the moment it is for just the BEA liveried version of ZJ, but the package will include three Batch files which you will add shortcuts to, on your Desktop...This will give you a choice of three liveries, BEA, BA or BEA/BA...works rather like the choice of Cruise ships and the Arming/Disarming of the F16s. Just six more days to schedule and the package will be ready for Zipping
