Filling a request for a group of swimmers in Uruguay..it's a small world, is this famous 810.

Built as the prototype (G-AOYV) of the new breed of faster re engineered machines it was, after certification flying and demo work, used as a Vanguard testbed.

Fitted with a Vanguard tailplane in place of the fin and a large spray rig above the cockpit it looked rather ungainly.

After that it was restored and converted to a V.827 and delivered to VASP, eventually passing to PLUNA along with two others of the type.

It was withdrawn at Montevideo in 1986

Hi Eddie

Thanks for your support.

Personally I have a 'thing' about blue edged with yellow ever since I was a young lad and the deep blue and yellow/gold BUA Heralds used to visit.

It's just on of those nice smart combinations especially with a nice polished bottom......I do like a nice bottom
