Hi Guys,

Whilst you are whiling away the time, twiddling your thumbs or whatever, can we get together some routes for the 146's. We'll be getting 200's and 300's.

Can you please indicate wherever possible whether the route was 200, 300 or both and the airline that operated the route.

Thanks and rgds

John

Hi John,

I've found an AirUK timetable for 1995 which (I hope) should give us some 146 routes. I expect delivery in a couple of days

would be interested to see the TNT routes from 82. As i recal there was a route from Aberdeen to (possibly Glasgow) then back down through other UK airports.

I may have some info on the Dan Air routes too.... just trying to get ones which are as early as possible.

John..

The AirUK Timetable (26 Mar to 21 Oct 1995) arrived this morning and a quick look through reveals it is absolutely CHOCKABLOCK with 146 routes. The complete list is 146-100, 146-200, 146-300, F100, F50, F27, BAC 1-11 ( ), ATR42, Shorts 360, Beech 19, BAC 1-11(Air Belfast) and Saab SF340. It'll take me a while to pull the bones out of it but there's plenty here to pick at

Some Air UK 146-200 routes off the top of my head:

LHR-GCI
SOU-GCI
LBA-AMS
STN-CDG
STN-AMS

From mid 1990s onward Air UK's 146s were also occasionally used for charter ops and so could be seen at LGW and EDI. I remember they used the -300 on EDI-SZG which I would have thought must have been on the limit of its range

Btw, I dont know if the series, the number of a/c to acquire or the regs have been decided yet but I'd like to see:

146-200
G-CNMF
G-CHSR
G-CSJH
G-UKLN
G-UKRH

Other major operators of the 146 were of course BA and JEA. There have also been a number of others including Capital, Loganair and Debonair.

Hi Toby,

Once I've got some more route info on the 146's then the aircraft will be purchased and routes scheduled for them at FlyNET. Been busy with other new types plus more routes for existing fleet so the 146 not been to the fore. I need to get my linechecks done to keep my Type Ratings current so will be a couple of weeks or so. Those reg's you mentioned - are there repaints available for them ?

Rgds

John
