Changing bases

is there any way of changing bases with flynet because i've just noticed i'vd clicked on the wrong airport. (I'm hopeless) :doh:

Hi Jonathan,

Welcome to the VA! Don't feel too bad - I did exactly the same thing when I joined! :doh:

To move elsewhere, log into the FlyNet website and go your 'Profile' page. There you will see an option to 'Buy Ticket'. Click on that and you can then 'buy' a flight to an airport of your choice. You can find which airports have the type of aircraft you are rated to fly by checking the 'Fleet' page.

Thanks for adding that Colin :wink:

Neither of you are alone in doing this as I can think of a-n-other pilot, recently joined, who is also at the first airport on the list. It's a pity that FlyNET doesn't direct our pilots to either our main hub (Stansted) or at least offer the choice of a UK airport but I don't think the system has any way of knowing where our main hub is as we choose this ourselves.
