Hi Peter,
In what context do you mean? Given you have used "GB", I presume you dont mean an internet Top Level Domain (TLD)?

The full title for Pakistan is "The Islamic Repubic of Pakistan", so if the "USA" can lose the "A", its possible perhaps  Then again of course, its possible this comes from another language, like "CH" (Confoederatio Helvetica) for Switzerland, or even a translation from another alphabet.
Then again, Peter is a smart chap and this could be clever riddle to catch us out

I think it's a cunning riddle designed to catch us out, I'm not aware of any countries that use IP as a code.

just for info, gb isn't the iso country code, its UK for United Kingdom.

The whole country code list is available here...

No, I don't know the answer to this riddle...Nor does the stats provider for my website:-
I just though that one of you knowledgeable chaps might provide the answer

It might actually just be "IP" as in IP address... sometimes it cannot be determined where a particular visitor is browsing from. I get a certain amount of unresolved or "network" users on my stats too.

Thats exactly what it is toby. Where the site has been acessed via IP address rather than the DNS name.

I thought it was a genuine riddle and spent a long time with pencil and paper trying to crack the logic sequence
If I'd known it was a question I would have twigged it straight away
