For those who miss the good old days of AF99 modelling and "glue" ....

Paper and glue have never been my preferred models but it's great to see them still in production. Not bad looking models either

I had an enormous Viscount

32 scale of something.....really big

It said Austrian Airlines but was in British Eagle.......strange as it was an 810 and they only had 700 and the reg was G-ALUN the only SARA Princess to fly.

Never fails to amaze me how they do research to get accurate liveries but get the type and reg wrong :dunno:

Still it was an interesting if rather too big model.

Hi Guys,

I'm going to have to go for a search in my loft as I have a box of unmade plastic kits. I've had them that long I can't even remember what's in the box. If anything interesting turns up I'll post a few pics.

Durn Airfix - I bought the Heron II on ebay and now they've re-issued the kit!

Is that in the tri-pack or is it available on it's own?

Here are a few of the kit's I have waiting for a time when I get round to rekindling my modelling interests. As well as these I have a good few plastic kits of British sports cars but they are mostly modern/still available kits.

I don't suppose the V800 can be borrowed at some point for the V800 update for FSX ?.

I have a 700 that Tony Madge sent me but an 800 would be very handy for details.

I won't make the kit as i can't stand making kits anymore :dunno:

I would also be happy to return it afterwards or buy it whichever.

I prefer the ones that don't gather dust and paint that does not dry up if i leave the lid off.
