Very good it was too. That presenter was a bit fierce though, wasn't he. :shock:

I though all Major's were like that
But it was v good programme. I'm sure it will get a repeat later showing on in the year if you missed it - & I missed the first 20 mins or so.

Some good footage in there.
The presenters face looking out though the Mossie cockpit was a bit scary though.
Even the wife enjoyed it till I woke her up

Hmm...
Watched it on tape last night. Thought it was ok in parts but felt it was still a 'lite' version for the 'waiting for Eastenders to come on' brigade.
The presenter was wrong and there were quite a few occasions of repetitive archive film.
Amongst other things, thought they could have emphasised the Pathfinder role of dropping the initial TI's under GEE electronic guidance when bombing German targets, which was probably its most important in WW2.
Sure I have seen better attempts on the Sky documentary channels previously.
