I was thinking the textures look very WIP...

Absolutely - they were really intended just as placeholders to stop me getting bored while I built the thing. Most of the paint schemes in the pics will make it into the final product (plus some that haven't been seen yet), but they will be on textures that will really blow you away. They are much better than the Lancaster final textures.

Quite good then...

I look forward to it - if its anywhere near as good as the Lanc it'll be a winner - another 5* in PC Pilot would be a bonus too...

Charlie

I can tell you that Ed has made some dynamite paints for it including a
couple of ,lets say rather interesting ones  . And the VC cockpit,
sound and some of the effects surpass the Lancaster by leaps and bounds.
Ive been umm sort of testing for Ed and flown ONLY using the VC since
the first Beta version, it just keeps getting better and better.....whatever
Ed asks for it (which I know will be a steal) it will be worth it and then
some....

Polish up your plastic gents

Le If,

How do you get to play with it so early, who did you have to sleep with to get that gig.

Seriously, really looking forward to this one. I've been using the Paul Rebuffat one to tide me over, but Ed seems to have surpassed himself (again) with this one.

Ed, any chance of a Mk XII and some Griffon Seafires, to really make my year complete?

Thanks for the kind comments guys!

There are several more Spitfires on the list once the XVI is out. And perhaps some Seafires.

It largely depends on sales for the Spitfire.

Real Air's XIV is the best around at the mo... - and a decent VC is always a must for me - I haven't used a 2D cockpit in years...
