I went to Dovestone last week, and to be honest, it was filthy.
I know I take my dogs up there, but to stretch their legs, not their back sides. :shock:
Also, there are still a lot of sheep down from the hills with their lambs.
Dogs and sheep don't mix.

We've now started going just above Delph. That is where I took these pics today. Castleshaw Reservoir.
It's really quiet. There was only one other person up there. .......and I don't have to pay to park........

Your right. Now that the council have cottoned on that they can earn lots of money as a tourist attraction, its just got worse. Its a shame really as the place it beautiful.

I still go though as I need somewhere to blast the lungs an all.

That place is a little too far for me as I always cycle to the venue's rather than chuck the bike on the car.
