Hi Gents

Im not sure where to post this, so if its in the wrong place, admin can you please adjust!

i want to apologise to anyone i have let down with broken promises.
I have in the past few months promised repaints and pictures etc for people, and have failed to deliver.

It is mainly due to problems in my private life, having been forced to leave my beloved job in the RAF, having a wife away on operations with the RAF, having to look after 2 young children, trying to find a new job, and taking on the Mod in an employment battle, .....blah blah..!
i promised several people things which i have yet to fulfil, i will contact those individually but at this moment in time this is the best i can do.
so i apologise for my failings and hopefully all will be sorted soon...

thanks for there patience,

cheers

neil

Neil, your home life takes precedent over all others.
Make it your No1 priority, and let the others wait.

No worries.

If nothing else this forum has been , and I hope will be a sort of support system for us all - I feel very close to the "cadre" here - as someone else once said its like having your own pub in cyber space where you can drop in
and be amongst friends, I hope things improve for you - and at the very least
no one would hold you to commitments against your own private life

Completely agree with all that's been said Neil - home and family come first.

Hope you have everything sorted soon.

I cannot understand what is happening to my beloved service! When every experienced hand is needed we are reducing the numbers over aperiod of years to around 40,000!! Heartbreaking for those who set their hearts on a career in the service and do enjoy service life.

I do sympathize. This is a really difficult time for you - never mind about FS - children come first and I am sure everyone here understands some of the difficulties you must be going through.

On being invalided out of the RAF I found civilian life quite difficult to accept but I did have enough time to make a fairly successful civilian career for myself.
