This was already a superb freeware rendition by SCS.

The new version includes:

- new Copilot panel (with very discrete arrows for navigating between panels)
- flight model improved
- Flight data recorder МСРП-64 added;
- simple GPS Navigator Trimble Approach added;
- new sounds;
- Some errors of previous version are corrected

Thanks John,

Have you seen any detailed screenshots anywhere, I've looked on the Tu154 forums but no luck. I gather the visual model will be (optionally?) a payware component.

BTW - Have you seen the new NCalc Beta 4? Much easier to understand :smile:

Cheers,

Thanks for that Graeme.

The new version uses the same model.

Still looks good though. Love the nose. :smile:

Hi John,

Thanks for the headsup and posting the screenshot - very sweet looking bird!

Are there English langauge docs included with the plane, or is it all in Russian?

Regards,
Scott

Not an English manual as such. At least I don't recall one.

However on the Tu-134 English forum, you will find lots of help.

Check out the sticky posts for English checklists, guides and references.

There's always someone ready to help out if you're stuck.

Sorry to drag up such and old topic... does anyone know which of the things on that link I need to download to be able to have the Malev Tu134? Also, I remember there being a rather stunning Tu154 here at some point... was that freeware or do I have to cross someone's palm with silver for that one?

Again, your best bet is this link to the forums.

The 134 is by SCS and the 154 is by Project Tupolev.

There is also a brilliant Il-62M

All are freeware, very detailed and a joy to fly.

The 154 includes an excellent VC.

Check the English forums for the aircraft you are interested in.

P.S. Check the first few posts in each forum for download details, and various help documents in English.

Cheers,

Got all of it installed now except that Malev livery for the 134. I cant seem to make the engines actually "stay on", but I think thats an RTFM problem :lol:

Found an older Tu134 model with Malev livery on allnodes though... that is nice n simple though the FDE seems a bit odd. In fact on all these types, the latency on the engine achieved the demanded speed seems quite incredible, surely Russian engines really arent that high inertia are they? :dunno: :think:
