Could you ever go back?

After trawling through the entire flight simulator collection on Ebay (always looking for a bargain), I noticed a lot of old versions of our beloved sim.

Do you think that after a few years of using the latest version, you could ever go back to FS2002, FS2000, FS98 or even FS5?

I have very fond memories of FS2 on the Atari ST and Thailons A320 Airbus on the Amiga, but whether I could return back to them is another thing.

I don't think I could except as a novelty for a short while but very soon I would miss the quality we have now.

My missus bought me one of those plug in console thingys for Christmas. It has all the old Atari games on it. It was good for a laugh for about 12 minutes. Now its just gathering dust.

If she asks I say "Oh its great love, I am just too busy at the moment!" (as I count how many cornflakes there are in the box) :-#

Why go back.... FS2004 still has the stutters from FS2000 so it's just like the old days.

Oh! go on then. I can't wait to bash the rubber keys to make the little stick man pole vault.

Having said that I've still got the Amiga. Now there were some good Sims for that. The Paula sound chip was well before it's time.
