Classic British Flight Sim

I have lost me waves marlene! also my water does not move around and the refelcetions on the sea have gone! I have autogen everywhere else and tried turning it on and off, the hardware setting is set for this to work but Ill be buggered if I can get anything to show...anyone got a clue?? Cheers Tony

I had this when I didn't use autogen due to using VFR Scenery. The moment I started to use the UK VFR stuff and installed their setup files it came back.

I have VFR but never use it :think:

just tried different drivers, but no luck, I have GE and FE installed wonder if its that??? hate it when something don't work...besides John Prescott

Try switching off FS9 Theme weather and switching on "Customize Weather" with clear skies & no wind. See if the waves have returned. If they have try increasing the cloud coverage. This worked this morning for me but i am still experimenting with very limited time available just at present.

Look in your FS9 settings and see if you have water effects on high........that might do the trick

I lost my wave texture when i installed on of the airport enviroment upgrade packs as it overwites some of the files in the effects folder.

you need the default or a working wave.fx file

Ive been running them for a while and they seem to be AEU and
everything else proof - they also make a better wave

Rick, Both Hobby and I lost reflections after installing the new textures AQUA something the newest availiable but there is no Fx with that just textures.

It's a funny one since the reflections have a habit of appearing and dissapearing.
