A teacher was discussing 20th Century history with her class and the subject got on to aviation.
She then asked the class "Who was Alcock and Brown?"
The class was silent until a little lad at the back put up his hand and asked,
"Sammy Davis Jnr, Miss?"
She then asked the class "Who was Alcock and Brown?"
