John..
Add to the above..
MaxZFW = 52400kg
Max Freight (Pax cfg) = 12700kg
I have your MTOW a little high mate. MTOW taken from ATP962 (AL85) listed as 68000kg

John..
As an addition to the above (as I have no idea how Flynet will let you load fuel).. Startup and taxi allowance for the Tri3B is 400kg. This will give you a max ramp weight of 68400kg. MTOW remains 68000kg though

Hi Dave,
That MTOW figure I got from hs121.org (155,000lbs = 70,310kgs ) they got conversion wrong though. Checking in the aircraft.cfg file MTOW is 155000 in there too. I can go with the lower weight if thats the right one but I just wonder where the higher (to our advantage payload wise) weight came from.

Dave's MTOW figure of 68,000 Kgs is certainly correct.
Max seating in BA was 153 from memory.

Thanks guys.
Figures duly amended. Peter M, I don't suppose you know if that dry weight is about right? That figure is also in the aircraft.cfg file

I'm not sure what detail Peter still has either on paper or locked away in those little grey cells but it appears that the Dry Operating Weight is not a figure set in stone as it comprises the Basic weight, crew weight and pantry!! The figure above is there or there abouts
minus the pantry weight. Gad know's where this is worked in!!
The Trident3B FM I have off G-AWZO (did you ever fly this one Peter??) states that there are two basic pax configurations.. 140 seats (the majority of aircraft are in this configuration) and 146 seats. I wouldn't dare contradict Peter's figure though as I'm sure he knows how many pax he carried!!

ZO's FM
does state a max of no more than 149 although this does not include babes in arms!
The other figures quoted (the ones that appear to be incorrect) all seem to have come from Max Kingsley-Jones book 'Hawker Siddeley Trident'.. Mr Gripper.. and this lists a 'typical' pax loading of 136 for the 3B and a max of 180

Dave
The 180 max was probably a theroretical max but never taken up
Channel put 139 in a 1E (1E-140)
That was with seven abreast for most of the cabin. So if you crunched them up in a 3B like Channel.............
The Chinese may have crammed a few more in their Threes.

AND Garry.. the Chinese are smaller than us Europeans so smaller seats + smaller occupants = more pax!!   :-$
