Type Ratings for aircraft types will be 'self-regulated'. When you are comfortable with a particular aircraft type and wish to have a 'Type Rating' , please post here. Yours and other pilots Type Ratings can be viewed on your 'Prolile' page at FlyNET.

You are already Fk100 type rated and the DC3 isn't British and so won't be included in the fleet.
The Fk100 exists due to the airlne already operating the type.

If the DC-3 won't be included, then why does the VA own 4?
Also, why the 777-300?

So they do... who put them there
The 777 was there before CBFS came along.

According to John, some "non-British" types will be used because they were operated by Classic British Airlines. The DC-3 is one of them.

The Fokker 100's and the B773 are legacy fleet aircraft. All pilots will be Fokker100 rated. The B773 will stay on the fleet for money-making purposes and may be leased out at some point. Ratings for this will NOT be given on demand.
In my initial thread regarding the formation of the VA I said that the airline will encompass the airlines operating classic British aircraft and certain aircraft operated by classic British airlines. I think the DC-3 qualifies on this count.

I'm not F100 rated as of my check 10 minutes ago...
BTW, I added in 5 of each of the types I added in addition to those added earlier, so hopefully we'll have enough plus the ones that are auto-added.

Could I have type ratings on the following please?
HJG Boeing 707-365c British Eagle G-ATDZ
HJG Boeing 707-436 BOAC G-APFV
Thought I'd go for these two as I've a few "hours" in them and I'm confident enough to operate them both.
Plus every one else want's to fly 748's, Vanguards and 1-11's,so I thought
a classic Yank in two Classic British liveries, one of them RR powered to boot would be a change.
I might possibly add Air Atlantique's DC6 at a later stage, but I haven't flown it much lately and I need to get some practice in   .
