Glad you managed to walk away Dan. If you can't land there.. there's little hope for the rest of us

The detail looks stunning mate. Can you give us an idea on what sort of framerates you're seeing??

Btw.. I've done that approach in the C1K sim at Brize with Tonks as P1 and yes.. before you ask, he managed a fine landing

Is this payware or freeware scenery Dan?? If it's the former, I'll move it to the Payware section

No its all freeware at AVSIM's (see another thread about this in the CNB)

I have 'round 8 -12 fps, but I also have 100% traffic, and the hkautogen so its pretty heavy crowded/loaded...still I have Virus and spy jobs running in the background, so I can't complain.....

Jim Vile 's the man, as well as Holger Sandmann and Tom Gibson.

Excellent job. and a separate AI package for the population of the airport. Has to fiddle somewhat with the aircraft.txt to be able to use your own AI-planes. But once it's done, you won't regret it. Don't go payware as long as we have this!

Btw. I haven't got a single piece of payware on my sim, and I sure intend to keep it that way ;-)

I've got the VC10, and such a bunch of good scenery creators out there, so I won't be wasting money on anything else.

Excellent Dan. I can't run at such low rates mate as (for me anyway) the 'As Real As It Get's' really goes out of the window. Certainly looks interesting though and as you say, perhaps a reduction in autogen/AI would reap a few more fps

Did you collapse the gear on landing? Your starboard wing looks a bit low.

Will the AI fly the checkerboard approach? If so then someone has done a fantastic job. I've been trying on and off for a couple of years to work out how to get the AI to fly that approach, but no matter what I tried all the aircraft flew through the mountains to get to the runway.

That's all freeware scenery? Amazing.

Only one way to find out, fire it up and give it a go!
