I decided that it was time to mess about again, always wanted a Britannia 737-200 G-AVRL I am sure a lot of guys here remember that one delivered in 1968 and the first of the charter jets
So plastered some paint on on used Philip Foglars repaint of the Kittyhawk 737 as a base to play with, I know the font is most likely wrong but this will never see the light of day  Maybe I will do better version once the old wrist is fully upto speed
Ok 737 on route to Almeria where it rained!

Very nice Tony

A famous as well as Britannia was one of the launch customers for the series 200.

Britannia FLUFF's were iconic in British IT for many years so it is fitting that you covered the very start of a long piece of history.

Nice one

Lovely screenshots. Always enjoy looking at them when they are that good.

Just a question (mainly for the mods here) what is the deal with 'Classic British'. I regurly take screenshots, and i could easily fill this forum with them, but i dont becuse most of the time its an American type. Occasionally its in a british livery, sometimes even classic.

For example..the Wilco 737-300 in Dan Airlivery. Would that be Okay to post piccys of. (i havent actually got it, its just hypothetical).

I may steal the thread...

Hope not, nice screenies.

Hi Fred,

It's the old 'Chicken & Egg' problem mate. Ideally, we love to see Classic British aircraft in Classic British liveries as that is why we're here and that's why folk come here but I have no aversion to the odd foreigner turning up.. wearing Brit clothes of course

Just to throw my tuppence in - There is one person who will love those shots Tony - I just need to teach her how to make prints of them

Im sure she will pop up here today and make some sort comment
I think thats the one she ermmm damaged herself on doing the
original demostration evacuation for certification of the 737 in the UK

And I had the pleasure of flying on the jumpseat of it doing a demo
flight around East Anglia with Cpts Roy McDougal and Don Tantum

Gorgeous paint Tony Cheers

I always wanted to do this one as it was the first jet I flew in, sadly no one had done it before. It is only a "codge it up job" maybe I will do a proper one soon, glad you like it though
