Latest to go missing in Australia, is the breast pocket on casual shirts.
What about where you live?

Shirts here are very hit and miss. My gripe is “slim fit”. Remember when a shirt was just a shirt. The collar size was really all you had to go on. After years of trying to find a good fit (I where a shirt to work every day) earlier this year John Lewis finally started to stock a few that were comfortable.
With causal shirts though i’ve a couple with and a couple without. One that was with, was a Gant shirt I bought for my birthday last year… it didn’t last 12 months despite being pretty expensive (hence the birthday treat) so I’ll never by that brand again. The collar completely disintegrated in 10 months, even though it was worn less than once a fortnight.

I never buy casual shirts with no breast pocket. I also prefer to wear combat trousers i.e. those with the additional side leg pockets. In fact the more pockets the better! Problem is that sometimes I can’t remember which pocket I put something into

I haven't worn a dress shirt in decades! I live in T-shirts and polo shirts in summer and rugby shirts or flannel shirts in winter. I don't even think I have a single dress shirt in my possession any more!

I'm talking check flannel shirts here, Larry; that's what we call casual.

I just checked three of my flannel shirts (pun intended!) that are in the spare room closet (the rest are stored away for summer) and all three have TWO breast pockets! Must be a Canadian thing eh!

Eric doing the Lt. Columbo pocket frisk pat down...
I catch myself do that sometimes..... ahh .. no.... ahh no ...ahh did I put them in this one.. nope..
I had a pair of Bahama Shorts with all the usual pockets..plus thigh pockets, pockets in pockets, and pockets over pockets. I mean
Pockets galore.
The front pockets, - in the usual location, were extra deep.
IIFC.. Once.. at some point during the course of a particular day.
I had to sit and do some business. The pocket (sock?) in that position slid down .. (gravity). Which after standing - made the pocket ride around the back horizontal like.
Some time later that very day my keys went missing .
So I check my pockets but don't feel them in my pocket through the material of the shorts over my thigh.. right front is where I keep to them. After a few minutes looking around the table and counter.. I think.. they'll come around to me they always do. So I sit down and - low and behold I jam one of the keys in my .. gluteus buh-tock maximus.. the pointed end!
... Oh!! -
there they are. .
